    Anybody know do I need to pay tax in casino sportbook winning?
    I have a question,i live in ca,if I go to Reno casino make a sport betting, if I won do I need to pay tax or is there a limit just like lottery over 599 need to pay tax? Or Sportsbook wining doesn’t require pay tax? Anybody know the rule in California?

                  Casino will issue you a tax form if you need to declare anything.

                    The payer must provide you with a Form W-2G if you win: $600 or more if the amount is at least 300 times the wager. $1,200 or more in winnings from bingo or slot machines. $1,500 or more in winnings from keno.

                        American tax law says you are supposed to pay income tax on all gambling income. But we all know you are not going to do it, so this question comes across as trolling.

                            You are small time if you wager at all. No one is going to give a crap whether you pay or not. If you have to pay, the casino will be the first to let you know. Being from California has nothing to do with it.
