Belichick will take Pats to the cellar is Kraft lets him
Jarrett Stidham contract and salary cap details, including signing bonus, guaranteed salary, dead money, roster bonuses, and contract history

Belichick looks at this contract and sees CAP SPACE

Stidham under $1 million locked in through 2022.

He has said very positive things about Stidham as recently as December 18.

"It's an opportunity for them. It's hard to practice three quarterbacks, but there have been a couple examples where Tom hasn't been able to do a lot this year, so that's given Stidham an opportunity to go with the first group and run our plays and run our offense, and that's been good for him.
“It's given Cody an opportunity to run more scout-team plays because Jarrett's not taking those.
“So, quarterbacks are always looking for more work. They've taken advantage of it. I think it's helped them.”

Not a chance he tanks. It isn’t like he plans on being HC for another 10 seasons.

He has his sons moving up in the staff.. it's crazy, he's GM, he's HC, he's DC...

I didn't mean he would tank, I mean they would just suck

Kraft has to get a grip on his organization.

All Belichick cares about is moving his sons up and proving he can win with anyone at QB
plus all the power that cap space would give him to manipulate the roster.

How can he prove that???? What 2008 they went 11-5?? They missed the playoffs. AND, Belichick absolutely SUCKs at drafting.

                      He sure does. Phony Michel.

Right now, Josh McDaniels AND WIFE are in Cleveland talking Head Coach job.

Who makes the first move, Brady or Bill. Will McDaniels get a head coaching job before Brady and Bill make their decisions? If Brady was a free agent now and not in March we might see everything move much faster. Does Brady want to play somewhere else if he will get paid more money than Kraft will pay or will Kraft pay him no matter how high the price?

mcdaniels hoping bill will quit when kraft decides to resign brady for three more years. bill couldn't deal with that and would walk probably to another team. kraft would rather have brady and not win than the alternative.

Kraft is a doddering old fool, who like Asian HJ's. He'll spend more money on his lawyers, than he'll pay a QB for a season.

I don't blame him, better talent, and better potential. But, someone need to get that "fraternity team" under control. Myles Garret????? LOL.

no doubt kraft is a miserly old cheapskate except when it comes to brady. the return on investment will exceed the 90 million or so he would pay him if he keeps him to continue this. winning is not the issue here. it's continuing the brady brand and not having him go to another team.

The Patriot's have Never paid Brady what he Was worth. Always took pay cuts "for the team". You think now at 43 years old they are going to empty the vault for him????
I think the Chargers would be a better fit. New stadium, need a draw, and the Brady name provides that. Besides, closer to home base. JMHO.

The more I think about this article I posted above
the less the headline deserves attention.

Telling Josh to finish his end-of-season reports before going on interviews
only held him up a few days. If the Giants or Panthers really wanted him, they would have waited.

We need to be careful about this gossip stuff. It's way out of hand today.
