They actually should have taken a timeout two downs earlier after they tackled them for a loss to bring up 2nd and 14 with 2 minutes to go. Time was not an issue for Michigan State. Letting them run down clock only helped MSU.

One of the worst I've seen all season! Zero points in the last 30 plus minutes after a 41 point half; the missed chipshot FG by a very good kicker; & then not scoring late when Wake was letting them score (smart play by MSU though!). Will we see this one on SVP "Bad Beats" on Monday night... you bet!

Saw something very similar in the eastern game last night. They had a timeout and screwed around. They had a for sure FG attempt at about the 25 with a good kicker. Clock just ran out. I don't know what they were doing. Then, they lose the game by 4 in final minute.

It not just on him. This team was so overrated to begin year. The defense a shell of itself, no consistent running game, dantonio looked checked out lot of the year.

He did well for a long time. I think the ship has sailed. He did more than every other coach but Perles. Can't say he's been bad or anything. Just lower your expectations. MSU is low on the recruit scale so he does well with what he gets. He's a good coach no doubt. This was a tough year. I was mildly surprised they won today.
