Well if it's the same song, then they'll be singing into the World Series. Joe is not a long-termer at his age. He'll be there somewhere between 3-5 seasons, no more, regardless of result.

The lineup is more than capable. I’m assuming the jap kid gonna go back to pitching next year? (Although he always seems hurt), they need more pitching in the worst way tho. They not shy about spending money, can’t imagine they brought madden in not to go for it. Or can’t imagine he would sign up with them unless he was sure they would.

Far more up to the GM than him. Managers don’t influence games much. All they do is manage egos and make pen decisions. Good ones make little difference, Bad ones ruin a team!!

I always say, every team wins 60 and lose 60. it is the other 42 that matter and Joe may make a difference. I would expect the Angels will be big players in free agency. We'll see what happens.
