    Double betting on a game
I bet on UCLA at +8.5 earlier in the week.

If I now bet on Stanford at -6.5, will I risk getting banned?

I'd be setting myself up so that I'd win both bets if Stanford wins by 7 or 8. If anything else happens, I'd lose the vig.

it's not double betting. it's trying for a middle. it's allowed. better with different books. however, if ucla covers you may get branded as a sharp. they won't ban you but make you walk over hot coals to get paid.

probably fine. You get into more trouble with

      Book A has UCLA 8.5
      Book B has Stanford -6.5
      Everywhere else had 8.5

Book B is going to get pissed if you bet stanford. At the same book, days apart, they don't care. It is better for them that you scalp the bet. Do the math, you'll figure it out.
