Drastic changes coming to Football and Basketball!

Yes, it's going to happen and sooner than you probably believe.
Major changes and on the Horizon.

FOOTBALL
These dominating 3 point field goals, seeing how one's toe can simply dominates many, many gomes, college and pro, these changes are in the air and will come.

1A. Only 2 points for field goals at the 20 yard line, and down to the 15 yard line.

1B. FG's will be only worth 2 1/2 points, from within the 40 yard line and down to the 15 yard line. Over 40 yards, only worth 1 1/2 points.
1C. Inside the 15 yard line, 1 point, only.

1D. Long distance FG's, or desperation FG's outside the 40 year line will be worth 1 point, only. {Was that really football?}

Exciting stuff coming, hey?

BASKETBALL
Same ideas as above. Breaking up the monotonous routines of firing off threes as soon as you cross the finish line.
This:
1. Jump shots from 23 ft. and in, only worth 2 points.
2. Jump shots over 23 ft. and between midcourt [is it 50 ft.?] will be valued at 2 1/2 points. [But only stretch to the midcourt boundary]
3. Miracles shots, or desperation shots from midcourt or longer, are worth more points. 3 1/2 points.

4. Dunking will be severely toned down [too dangerous leading to an all out ducking contest so often] and only worth 1 point.

Thus, larger crowds and games evolving to better fit our more modern world, bringing more and extreme drama, along with tear-jerking excitement [especially if you lose/win on a 3 1/2 point slingshot from 60 ft., by a mere 1/2 point].

Im kinda torn on wishing a kicker didnt decide a team's fate. team goes how and kill one another for 60 min and comes down to a kicker who hasnt even gotten contact all game but I like the kicking aspect of football. I kinda like the idea of the kicker having to be a position player cant just be his only job has to play somewhere else on the field lol

a pawn is a rather insignificant piece, but can severely impact a game. a kicker is very similar. and sometimes the psychology is more important than the physical. punters have the real gig. make at least 350k and no one ever says you blew the game, even when you do.

Adapt the new plan coming in 2020 or 21, and you'll never watch a basketball or football game and be bored at the same time.

The game is making so many filthy rich, they could care less about changing the game for profoundly better entertainment. And the ticket prices, along with food/drinks, too? Wow!
