It depends on what you are looking for. We stay at the Beau Rivage and we love it. The food is great. We get a room overlooking the river. It is also about a 1 1/2-2 hour drive to New Orleans. There are not nearly as many hotels as Vegas has, but they seem to be much nicer as a whole than Vegas is now, especially since Vegas got so greedy. If ou are really going to go, and are not afraid to spend a buck, stay at the Beau Rivage.
