Neither person he congratulated was removed. He was replying to the final results/prizes post by Genie.
Like me they don't work at the office and by the rules are eligible.
On mod chat we have been told the vetting seems to be working pretty well. Sure it isnt going to be perfect but SBR does not just have hands in pockets doing nothing like you want to make out..Comment -

I'm sure Rudy won't get banned for raising questions about a contest. He's actually trying to help us out and I'm sure everyone can see that! My worst nightmare is a repeat of last year so any positive input is very appreciated. I've spent the majority of my time since registrations opened for Pick 6 going carefully through entrants. It takes a good chunk of time to do it properly due to the large number of entrants but it is definitely being done

I understand your points.No need. No offense I know you mean well, but this sounds like the NFL, keep adding rules on top of existing rules until all you have is one big clusterfukk. It's simple, MUST BE SBR PRO to enter. Not 10 weeks, 6 weeks, 2 weeks in but prior to contest start date. Eliminates freerolls, scammers, multi-accounts. Lower the prize pool if need be. You want to generate traffic/new signups? Announce the contest 2 to 3 months beforehand, that's ample time for newbies to sign up for pro status. They miss the deadline, see you next year. The majority of these "posters" will disappear soon as the season ends anyway. Simple and effective.

I have run & overseen many contests for many books with huge prizes back when sponsors used to do so.
And trust me I have seen every loophole try to be used until I learned how to seal each & every one off as well as eliminating multiple entries.
But it's not my job to question or second guess those running this contest. They have good reasons for the rules they have implemented.
That's not to say that there haven't been some great ideas by you guys in this thread.

I've been here 11 years and for 6 months I drank way too much and attacked people instead of offering constructive criticism with any issues i had.
Given those 6 months, I get why I'm attacked now or taken as a problem child. I understand that but i dont mean to be.

Take myself for an example. I had a pipe break a couple months ago in a heat wave when you have to syringe the greens daily.
First you find the pipe which sometimes takes forever, then you find the crack (the crack isnt always where the water pops up above ground, trust me), then you dig all the way fukkin back to the end of the crack and you realize you have to replace 20 feet of pipe
You do that on a thursday/friday working overtime nonstop...get it filled in perfectly and run water anywhere you need to
Then someone on the weekend tells you that the rough needs mown on the left of 4 fairway. that pisses me the fukk off
I get that it seems like a personal insult to some here, because I take that comment above as one (as if im just being lazy when im not), but i wasnt trying to insult anyone
i think ive caught people in poker, point transfers and helped in contests with scammers. I mean no ill will and just hoping to help secure everything. the prize pools are getting so big here, it is worth it for many scammers to try over and over
