The poll only lasted about 60 seconds via TV with the voting over social media..

After Brown going to the Patriots was confirmed>

The poll question was:

The yes instantly lit up like a Christmas tree and ended
with 96% of a poll participants voting YES out of around 1700 voters total..

This situation reminded me of an episode of Better Call Saul (the spin-off about the origin of the lawyer in Breaking Bad) where Jimmy is working for a big law firm he ends up hating, but under his contract can't quit without forfeiting a signing bonus he received when he joined the firm. AB's intentions was to get cut by Oakland and sign with New England from the beginning, but there was no guarantee Oakland was gone cut him. Oakland could have held onto his rights and let him sit out the season. This is what happens when you have a losing culture. Players will do anything to get off your team. I'm pretty sure if AB got traded to a team like Kansas City, Green Bay or Seattle he would have been fine.
