If you like the bears it would make way way way more sense to bet them 1st half for a couple of reasons.

1st off it was incredibly obvious trubisky is much better on script and Nagy very good w his game plans coming into games. It when trubisky has to go to his 2nd-3rd reads where his accuracy goes to shit. Early on Nagy plays tend to have the 1st read open, trubisky only has to read half the field.

2nd Rodgers didn’t get any game reps this preseason so one would expect them to not be as sharp early on. Just common sense and we saw w the rams last year it took them a half to shake off the rust after not playing any starters in preseason.

3rd., do you really wanna be on bears for full game if they trailing at halftime anyways? Against Rodgers? I wouldn’t.

Add it all up and bears 1st half makes way more sense than full game. And hell if they lose 1st half and you still like them to win game (although not sure why you would!) you can always bet them second half at a better number!!

Crazy not to have taken them when it was more than a fg. That more about “sharps” playing a number than a team. Same guys would jump on other side if it gets down under a fg.

I think the game is an FG either way 1st half as 1st game out of the box teams will play really tight. Bears have advantages on both sides of the ball that I think will eventually let them pull away late. With the number at 3 I have the Bears covering 54% of the time.

Anything can happen in one event as you know but I'll take the slight edge with the Bears.
