I like Alabama at -32.5. The line has dropped because of suspensions and injuries to Alabama, with 2 startling linebackers out, Moses hurt and Lewis suspended. Alabama is replacing much of their front 7 and they will start 2 freshmen linebackers, but speed was a problem for Alabama at linebacker last year against dual threat quarterbacks, and Alabama should be fine with the speed they have at linebacker this year. Alabama returns both their tackles on the line and most of their receiver, they have several 5 stars at running back and Tua is getting all the reps with the first team this year. Last year Alabama didn't cover full game sometimes because Hurts was coming and just managing the game, but that shouldn't be an issue this year. Duke is starting 2 freshmen at the tackle position and Harris was only able to complete 40% of his passes against a horrible Baylor defense last year.

I think coming off a loss and with players suspended Alabama will be focused here, this Alabama team has good depth even with the suspensions too.

I struggle w that on all these huge spread mismatches...I laid it w Michigan tonight, just cause the new offense and thinking they got a chip on shoulders this year. Prob be like all the rest and come down to whether fav breaks one, or if dog manages to get that one free td they often get gifted late..

I'm gonna play it, but I prefer first half. I think they come out and dominate early and we have a 24-30 point lead at half. Quentin Harris is sooooo bad...guy sucks, I wouldn't be shocked if duke only comes up with a single field goal first half or maybe nothing at all. How the hell are they gonna score or move the ball with any effectiveness or consistency? 31-3, 31-0, 35-0...all very reasonable halftime scores. I played the game at 33 yesterday as well. Think even if they take the foot off the gas a little in the second half they can at least play even and get the cover providing they had that big halftime lead, which there's no reason they shouldn't.

Total bullshit listening to people say Cutcliffe is some QB guru, their aren't any successful Duke quarterbacks in the NFL. Alabama doesn't look great, still no kicking game and the secondary has trouble finding the ball, they have a much harder schedule than Clemson too, could lead to injuries.
