Well he’ll actually get to coach in PHX & leave his imprint. Lot of young talent on that team that needs molding & direction. They are on the rise.

The Lakers job doesn’t offer the same amount of potential reward. If they win, it’s because of LeBron or the front office. Not to mention no coach other then Phil Jackson has done anything there in 20 years.

If Coach Monty finds success in PHX and revives the culture there it will staple his name into the top tier of coaches for as long as his career lasts.
