I dont understand why they were paying these guys anything, these guys would have played for $300 a week. They are not in the AAF to get paid, they are in it to get exposure to get to the league!

haha some of the players are getting stuck with their medical bills after getting hurt in the games.
it's a billionaire's world and they are letting us live in it.

of course not they are covered under workers comp as employees! for minor league sports it is one of the biggest expenses teams have, also teams have local doctors or clinics that "sponsor" this means they contract for like first 100k free of services and after that they get all the insurance money on injuries, helps the team keep workers comp premiums down its like a huge deductible

this product was a good product, they messed up by paying players and coaches so much. if they would have minor league hit them with 500 a game and coaches 50-60k a year, this would have been awesome, there are so many people who want to be in the league, they would have jumped at this opportunity for 500 a game and local apt housing via sponsor apartments!

bankruptcy and they had a better product than the NFL. Players could hit other players. For those types of hits the NFL has to take tape from homes and casinos on domestic cases.

good article about the shet show that was called the aaf
Interviews with more than 40 senior AAF executives, lawyers, consultants, team presidents, coaches, players and other sources show the league began imploding even before the first game kicked off.
