That's what I thought. Is it a new rule? There's always been PATs on the last play.

      Found this:

New NFL rule: Starting in 2018, when a team scores a winning touchdown with no time left in regulation, the team will not be compelled to attempt an extra point or a 2-point conversion.

That also means garbage TDs, such as Pick 6s or fumble returns.

So, basically the fuking Titans didn't give a DAMN about their fans.

        The key word is "compelled".

You would think that they know their fans most likely bet on them if they were betting, so getting that extra point would make them push at least for the folks who had -10 since it stayed there for the most part.

No extra point, all losses for the Titans backers, so they fuked their own fans.

It only makes sense as that extra point would only benefit bettors. In a league where more than ever they're trying to minimize injury it only makes sense not to run a meaningless play.

            I don't know about that.

When is the last time you ever saw an injury on an extra point kick attempt? I never have in 30 years I've watched football.

I watched the ending on YouTube and that asshole Johnson didn't even attempt to tackle to stop the pick 6.

What a loser. Just like that he flipped the Over Under bets, so at least he did a BIG favor for the Over bettors.

It's just bad wording, just like the "touchdown to win the game." They don't mention pick 6s or fumble returns that have no impact on the result of the game. No extra points are attempted anymore in that spot, there's no option on the team's part.

The extra point was always kicked for gambling purposes, even though the NFL never admitted it. Just like the injury report is for gambling purposes.

Couple of the 300-pound lineman made better attempts, at least they were running.
