I think the biggest problem for Bell is it that any player with amazing talents which is most NFL backs can prosper in this system as a "Flex". Would this make other teams doubt giving Bell the 10 figure(or whatever crazy #) payday he thinks he deserves?

As a Pitt Fan I remember being astonished at his soph year season before Cancer struck.

The kid had some monster games, a 3-4 200 yard games a bunch of multiple TD games, I think he had a healthy 20+ TD's for the year

I think if he hadn't had to battle for his life vs cancer in the prime of his college career, he would have been in the midst of the heisman discussion for his Jr and Sr year

I think Bell needs to pray Connor is that good and that executives see Connor as that good and not just a product of the system, if they dont see it that way Bell will get a good salary but not burn the house down money!

I agree but I think he takes a hit probably not enough to care because of what Connor has done and his sitting out, A team dont want to have a guy and plan having him and then he pulls some contract stunt. I am not saying what he is doing is not justified, I am just saying GMs look at these things when they think zeros on a check!

He would be a good fit. Drake hasn't really worked out. Gore is just padding his stats at this point and you can't build around Tannehill so they most likely cut the QB and pay Bell. May sound crazy to do that but look at the dolphins and ask yourself if anything they've done the last 20 years makes sense.
