The Rockets are now 1-5 on the season after getting beat 104-85 tonight by the Blazers. Houston shot just 32% FG, 23% from 3 on 43 attempts and missed 10 free throws. Next up, the season's longest road trip beginning in Brooklyn Friday night.

James Harden expected to go through a more strenuous test on Thursday with Friday to see how he feels before a decision on his return. Rockets will have to weigh that Friday in Brooklyn begins a back-to-back.

Rockets are slightly worse than last year but let's relax.
A win. A close loss. Cp3 suspended. Then league MVP out 2.5 games.
New players. They'll be fine. Although 0 chance winning it all as they might have as many losses by Xmas that golden state has all season

Carmelo was an excellent player in Denver, but he has been a bum ever since Linsanity left New York, and Carmelo is barely good enough to play in a developmental league at this point of his career.
I would give Jimmer Fredette another NBA shot, before I would ever give the lazy, selfish Carmelo another NBA contract.

Haha. Someone just said Denver going to miss out on playoff spot.
I see only 2 teams from the top 8 now missing out.
Okc, Lakers, Minnesota, Rockets will have to fight for the 2 slots

Kinda like last year? They are a hideous road team - 31-10 last year at home and still miss the playoffs- Case closed - anyone that don’t think OKC and Houston will make the playoff? should stop watching basketball 82 game season!!!

Lol. They are a virtual lock for homecourt. Clueless.
You realise they were like -500 to make the playoffs before the season right? Factoring in their 5-1 start it would be about -800 now.

AD is injury prone. in a tight west if he misses 10-12 games can easily make the difference. Denver is on a mission after last year. they will be possible better at home and improve on the road. Spurs heavily dependent on Derozan. not sure he can maintain through the long season.
