    Vegas limits?
Guys how much can you put down in Vegas on the major sports (nfl/nba/mlb) before you draw attention? Is there a limit?

      Overall offshore has higher limits

      MGM biggest and most tolerant
South Point too is very tolerant
Westgate ok but becoming a square place
Stations decent but be careful chasing slow moving numbers
      Coast smaller but no booting

The rest will get cut quick if your a scalper

If you’re a known loser you could get down 10k on a football or basketball game.

If you're an unknown off the street you’ll have to go through 2 supervisors and a managers approval to get anything over a grand and that’s not even guaranteed.

Gold is vastly mistaken on this topic once again. Much higher limits on major sports in Vegas. Depends on the book and the amount of action, among other things. Not one specific limit.

Anything over 10k they’re required to fill out a CTR just as any bank or financial institution does, doesn’t mean much

Would definitely wager you any amount you’d like, OP walks in with 20 grand and lays it on a popular sport, and the person at the desk gets approval on the wager in a few mins and it goes through.

At which book? MGM made me wait 30 minutes to bet 1500 on last years NFC Wild Card game and the year before that the Mirage wouldn’t let me bet 2k on the NFC Championship. They made me lay 1k and wait for a line move to get the rest down and that was after practically begging the manager. Bottom line they don’t want big action against someone they don’t know.

Not sure what you experienced, but I'm confident in what I offered as a wager. My girlfriend has never laid a wager and laid a 7 grand wager at MGM in under 5 mins for me a few weeks ago.

I had a group out for a bachelor party with several bets in the thousands at multiple casinos without a bat of an eye. I'm in casinos everyday seeing wagers much larger than this, even on smaller games. Not sure what issue they had with you, but MGM wouldn't decline a 2k bet from the sharpest player in Vegas on an NFC championship game

Is it generally easier to put more down on offshore books?

No bet limit but if you're planning on making a wager that would pay out more than 10k I'd recommend splitting it up in several different casinos that not are not affiliated with one another to avoid any hassle or paperwork

If you don’t use players card don’t even worry about if they’re affiliated but overall this is good advice

Lol right. Tables with 1500 mins in casinos going to call down the big bosses for a 1500 wager on a game with a few hundred thousand dollar handle

?? No chance. Have put thousands down in Vegas before. Have been with guys who throw 15 grand on the table like it's water. You act like there's a screening process. Not sure where the hell you're playing. It's vegas. Guys lose 1,000 on a hand of blackjack every second.

Yes. Many books like the sharp action early. The people who get booted or limited are either betting obvious bad lines or scalping books. There’s a guy in town who won over a million on a rutgers game two weeks ago.

I'm behind the times. I thought it was about 15g Coll and 25g NFL at the big places. I'm probably wrong.
