Guessing...but probably wouldn't have hurt as much if you staked less. Don't think there was any major angles on those games.

In the end it's all part of the game, Runner Runners hit, Aces get cracked in poker all the time.

Just placed my 734th bet of the month. Can't get too emotional after a loss. Negative emotions sap the energy, weakens the thinking proccess for the next bet. Mistakes start to happen....Though same thing could be said when you win alot. Gotta find the right balance.

Most important is to not get tilted.

I had the Canadians tonight. I felt the opposite. Leading entire game except 7 minutes. Montreal gets two penalties in the final 6 minutes of game. I would've been pretty pissed.

We have all been there. But I have to remember the times where really I had no business at winning, when I cashed out. I agree with my poster above, in NHL like MLB, the way to go is betting totals. There are so many variables to betting team sides. I for instance focus on totals, specifically unders. I would say 90 percent of my total bets if not more on the unders. If you focus your research on one area- it may limit your overall winnings but it also limits you betting sides you have no business doing.
OF course I would say- that I will bet an MLB line every now and then. Esp. when I see huge value. The Sox being large dogs to Yanks in game 3 was an example of this
