I rather have a guy in minors that bats 270, rarely strikes out and keeps ball in play with great speed

100x more efficient than Stanton and can get a guy like that for 2 million tops

players like stanton and edwin encarnacion who is even less productive are worthless. they hit 4 or 5 hr's a year that have an impact. at least cleveland has only 1 more year to suffer with their albatross. yankees stuck with stanton for 9 more.

After signing Stanton, I pretty much called it a Murderer's Row of K's.

Starting pitching overall was not anything that was going to go far in playoffs, K's or no K's. Not surprised at all with the flameout. Yes, I'm a Yankees fan.

You cant build a team around HR hitters. Yanks have used this model for the last 10 yrs. hr’s are tough to hit in the post season. Its cold, pitching is better, and the pressure is amped up. The yanks do not have one guy that can hit .300 maybe Torres in a few yrs. they need starting pitching and guys that can slap the ball around for hits

If game 4 was played at Fenway the Yankees win 6-4 on a Gary Sanchez grand slam.

The ball was caught just past the beginning of the warning track
That, and the fact the wall is huge in Fenway, means that his ball was AT BEST at the base of the green monster or just a few feet up the wall

Plus, Yankee stadium was specifically built to have the most wind possible blowing out at all times
