Question about a Settle Figure

So last season I was playing with two locals..

One of them I have a settle figure with.. the other we settle every week no matter what..


I eventually got tired of playing with the settle figure guy... his markets kinda sucked.. couldn't parlay soccer.. just a bunch of stupid shit I really didn't like I had to actually meet up with the dude in person to pay or get paid..

So I stop playing with the guy and about a year goes by and he hits me up saying I have to settle with him because I have a small balance with him .. which is under our figure mind you..

My question is this... Should I pay the guy ? Would he be chasing me if I was up but still under our figure?

Never been in this position and I honestly totally forgot about this dude..

that's not really the crucial question, One more crucial is....

if you were up $200, would you have ever asked for it?

do you believe a person should pay every cent of debts they owe? or just decide arbitrarily if they think the collector deserves it?

Of course. Don’t even need to read the other replies on this one. And he wouldn’t need to you would’ve done it for him. If whatever your settle figure was that obviously didn’t change if you decided to leave or everyone who played with him would bet right under that and leave.

Only odd part that makes it remotely questionable is him waiting as long as you say

easy solution since its not a large amount and your not using him or plan on using him venmo or paypal him the money and be done with it or just have him come to you since he wants it
