Mark Cuban to pay $10 million following NBA's sexual harassment investigation
    https://www.yahoo.com/sports/mark-cuban-pay-10-million-following-nbas-sexual-harassment-investigation-184946750.html

The NBA’s investigation into the Dallas Mavericks confirmed allegations of widespread sexual harassment and workplace misconduct, the league announced on Wednesday. As a result, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has agreed to donate $10 million to organizations committed to combating domestic violence and supporting the professional development of women in the sports industry.
The $10 million far exceeds the maximum $2.5 million penalty the NBA can levy against an owner, as the league did in response to racist remarks by former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

I think the punishment is fair. He has become publicly ridiculed and just seems like a guy who would not stand for this at all if he knew about it. He shouldn't be forced to give up the franchise a la sterling. That's crazy talk. Really unfortunate he didn't do a little more due diligence on the ceo's personal life but from all he said in the interview about concentrating on his tech company etc i believe him. He is a no nonsense type guy.

What a bunch of bullshit, first the donation is write-off, you can't write-of fines, and why did Sterling have to sell and Cuban didn't. Cuban's liberal politics are helping him here, if he was conservative the media would be attacking him right and left, he oversaw a mysognist culture for 20 years and he gets to keep his team, but Sterling made a stupid comment to his girlfriend and he has to sell, ridiculous.

cuz personal racism is worse than looking for office hookups.
if you want to own an nba team you can't be racist.
