Bell has been playing under the franchise tag for like what? 4? 5 yrs in a row? I know it's more profitable but the risk at that skill position is so high. A multi year deal and a huge signing bonus would've been safer.

He's good and a top 3 back when healthy but I wouldn't say he's the best. His lack of explosive home run speed will always make sure of that.

Brian Cushing got over last year. He was on the juice in camp, because he knew that if he made the team, the Texans were on the hook for ~$19 million.
