Hammering the Red Sox early Thursday? Let's discuss...
I'm not going to use any dirty words here but it certainly looks like the play is to drink the Red Sox juice at -175. Early get-away game for both teams as Boston heads for Tampa Bay and Cleveland goes to Kansas City.

Indians manager Francona looked to be waving the white flag, very happy to get out of Boston with two wins, when he sent his closer Allen out to throw 22 pitches in mop-up as if to maybe say "get some work in, take tomorrow off, be ready for the KC series". And his catcher Gomes will not start the early game after working last night either.

By contrast Red Sox number one catcher Sandy Leon will start after getting last night off.

Home plate umpire looks favorable as well. Gerry Davis is 15-8 on the season favoring the home teams and is 8-1 in last nine games favoring home teams at +160 or better. Boston is also 4-0 in Davis's last four games while Cleveland is 1-3 in his last four behind the plate.

Unless somebody can argue otherwise, I am ready to hammer the ML at -175 and nibble at the -1.5 RL +107 as well.

    DISCUSS.

Francona isnt worried cause it wont be a save situation with their big lead in the 9th.

neither team needs the game period. will rush through it like a spring training game to catch flights for destinations that are getting old for both these teams.

Plutko has never faced the Red Sox.

Price has very quietly composed six quality starts in a row. He's 4-0 with a 1.80era his last 6 starts vs Cleveland and 10-2 with a 2.24era lifetime vs the Indians.
