my buddy just informed me that he has been using BetGuardian (SBR B rating) because they offer 105 pricing on Pro and College BB. I really hate to experiment with other books right now based on how the market is but 105 pricing can be kind of nice. anyone familiar with them?

#2From what I remember about this book in the past. They use clone lines, and there were a few people that claim they are a little below average on there payouts. However, I don't know much real current info on them at all.Comment -

#3I have an account with them. The catch is the club 105 has a max wager of five hundred dollars.I've had no issues with payouts and the customer service has been the best of any book I've done business with. The web site is average at best and the lines tend to be very vanilla. If that suits your needs I suggest opening an account for a limited ammountComment -

#4Checking them out. Rated B.
They offer 10% annual interest!
That could be pretty sweet. But looks to be a different program than the -105 juice.
Anybody know their limits on signup bonus and bets?
Do any other books B or higher offer annual interest?Comment -

#5Indeed - the 10% is correct. And yes, from my experience anyway, it's a different program than the -105 juice.Originally posted by Dark HorseThey offer 10% annual interest!

#6Two different programs BUT - the catch is - (and I asked this specifically) they have no problem if you want to open 2 accounts in your own name. 1 with the 10% interest at full juice and 1 with the -105 style pricing. Never was able to figure out how they came up with #'s I rec'd for interest payments but I didn't really care.Comment -

#7I think Guardian is fine for guys betting $200 and lower per game and you will get paid. It is no way a top flight book though.Comment -

#8Wow. Usually multiple accounts are a recipe for trouble. How safe are they? Or, given the times, how safe have they been so far?Originally posted by rolemandTwo different programs BUT - the catch is - (and I asked this specifically) they have no problem if you want to open 2 accounts in your own name. 1 with the 10% interest at full juice and 1 with the -105 style pricing. I'm thinking about that 10% interest and just parking some money there.Comment -

#9I have always gotten my payouts in a timely fashion. I beat them up on NFL props in 2004-05 and they cut my limits the following year. I'm currently waiting for my last payout via Fed Ex check but they charged $40 for it w/ no option of via regular mail. They have a similar rounding type method as betcris except they will round up if it's .50 or higher. (more applicable to the smaller player) but it does increase the juice in your favor.Originally posted by Dark HorseWow. Usually multiple accounts are a recipe for trouble. How safe are they? #10When I used them last year they had a $500 bet limit even when calling over the phone. Sucks for a dumbass like me who wanted to scalp out of there on the first bet. Instead I had to wager more than $50k at $500 per bet.Comment -

The brochure I receive at least 5 times a year states Telephone maximum $10,000 but all limits above $3,000 must have managerial approval - no exceptions.
$500 online limits - but online limits can be raised upon approval.Comment -

#12Thanks Rolemand... not my experience but they probably figured that since I was European I was a scalper (like 99% of the Europeans using US books - the number for US players is only around 50%) so they didn't want to let me get a chance to just scalp me out on the first bet.
edit: We are talking about ggc.co.cr right???Comment -

#13If you just park the money and don't make any bets, they won't pay interest on the account.Originally posted by Dark HorseWow. Usually multiple accounts are a recipe for trouble. How safe are they? Or, given the times, how safe have they been so far?
