Didn’t mean to come off as being sensitive. Sometimes difficult to understand the written word as there is no emotion behind it. Agreed though will probably be more undesirables in a race track setting then a casino.

I’d highly recommend checking out the Ocean Club in AC when it opens. Have some great clubs opening up and a Top Golf area on the very top floor. Should be very cool.

If Bally's in AC was smart they'd take that dump of a casino, The Wild Wild West, (which runs a bare bones casino in it and a pretty good poker room but is half friggin empty) and make it into a mega-sportsbook. They used to have a good racetrack setup in that one corner near the Poker Room, it would be ideal for a fancy set up.

Of course in AC is a dump now and they probably don't want to make that investment considering the Borgata out classes everything else in town.

Governor Phil Murphy informed Monmouth Park president and CEO Dennis Drazin Thursday night that he did not want the track to start taking bets on sporting events before he had a chance to review the bill, which was approved by the legislature in Trenton on Thursday afternoon.

In a press conference on Friday, Murphy again made it clear there would be no sports betting at Monmouth Park until he had a chance to review the legislation, likely sometime next week at the earliest.

Dom id suggest you check room rates in AC. Ridiculously over priced but understandable in the summer months.

They also updated the Chelsea Hotel which I’m told is really nice.
