How do you guys think about Mississippi getting into it by the end of July? I am unsure how many in Tunica will have sports wagering. I am considering a trip there which is a 3 hour drive from here. I did hear that no mobile wagering. It has to be at the casino there.

Phil Murphy signs sports betting law. You can start betting on Thursday.

Get ready to place your bets, New Jersey.
Gov. Phil Murphy on Monday signed a law that finally authorizes legal sports betting in New Jersey, both online and at the state's casinos, racetracks, and former racetracks.
Monmouth Park racetrack in Oceanport is tentatively planning to become the first place in the state to accept bets, starting Thursday at 10:30 a.m., track operator Dennis Drazin told NJ Advance Media.
The signing caps a seven-year saga in which New Jersey spent $9 million in taxpayer money on a court battle to legalize such betting at casinos and tracks.
It comes about a month after the U.S. Supreme Court sided with the state, overturning a 1992 federal ban on sports wagering and allowing states across the country to legalize it.
New Jersey is now the second state outside of Nevada to authorize betting on sports games. Delaware beat the state by about a week.Comment -

I like it because it'll make that market much more competitive, especially since they initiated the 8% fee 2 years ago which made it unbettable, especially with wins being taxed at income.Comment -
Until they have most states with capability of wagering online it's really not that big of a deal. Why would I want to drive even 20 minutes to go put bets in? And what about Live betting? How do I stay at a casino all day and all night trying to do that?
It's a step in the right direction but it's not going to pull offshore bettor away until it's all online.Comment -
