Keep talking about bulls defense? Who was ever a high octane offense that they taking down? They never seen a juggernaut like the warriors - Thompson/curry is consider the best shooting backcourt ever - Pippen can deal with Durant? lmao
Can 95-96 chicago bulls team take down this gsw team?

#37jordan would take advantage of the rules and destroy people as he attacked the rim as fluid as he was and he would take off and slam it on Green's head and slowly demoralize him and neuter his game... the Warriors would find themselves trailing and then those 3's become harder to hit
you need to actually think instead of just saying Warriors would destroy themComment -

#50If you bringing today's rule, then forget about how bulls played cos the players would have adapted to today's rule. You look at talent alone in this case.
If you honestly believe Jordan and Popped would lose to these babies then I don't know how to convince you.
You keep shouting 3s, you think Jordan, Pippen, Kerr won't light some 3s? They are good shooters and in this era, they would have improved on it to match gsw.
Ask any GM to choose Jordan or combo of Curry+KDComment -

#54Would you rather have...
Jordan/Pippen or KD/Curry?
Rodman or Draymond?
The Bulls also had better role players imo. Kerr, Kukoc, Harper, etc.
I’ll take the Bulls. I think they had more talent and even if you say the teams are even, the Bulls had the best player to ever step on the planet. A guy that never lost on the Finals.
Curry and KD have both failed on the Finals. Jordan hasn’t.
Also, Jordan went through some really tough teams with a lot of Hall of Fame guys on them. Now days there are only like 3-4 good teams and we can basically predict the conference finals before the year starts.Comment -

#56Nope. Even Jordan can't compete with this GSW team that has 4 all stars, and two of them are arguably top 5. Must admit I feel hopeless when I watch GSW-Houston game 1. No one can beat them, and not because KD or Curry are better than LeBron or Harden per se. It's because they are too stacked.Comment -

Jordan went through the following Hall of Famers in his playoff runs.
Magic Johnson
James Worthy
Clyde Drexler
Charles Barkley
John Stockton
Karl Malone
Etc.
I don't see anyone on the Warriors stopping him. I feel like a lot of people in this thread must be in their 20s and never really got to see Jordan play.
I would take the Bulls. You would take the Warriors. It's kind of pointless to argue about since no one can ever be proven right or wrong so I'll just leave it at that.Comment -

#65I know you're a Warriors homer but no one in the world could cover Michael Jordan when they were actually allowed to be physical and play defense. If anything, the softer rules in this flopping league would make him even more unstoppable.

It’s almost impossible to compare eras. I tend to think the Bulls would have adapted and been even better in this era.
Most of the people in this thread probably don’t realize the 96 bulls shot a better three point percentage than this Warriors team....again, that was back when the rules favored defense. Bulls shot over 40% from downtown in 1996. What would that Bulls team do today?
Pippen on KD
MJ on Curry
Harper on Klay
Rodman on Green
Who would guard Jordan? Klay Thomson? I feel like Klay would get worn out and his offense would suffer.
We will never know. There isn’t a right answer to this, just opinions.Comment -

#67Bulls made 544 3 pointers for essentially 40% or if you want to say over 40%, 40.3% The Warriors made almost twice the number of 3 pointers for 39.1%. I disagree that if you were to take that same Bulls team in their prime and put them in to today's game, they'd have the same level of success. The talent at PG and SG is eons better than it was during that season and players today are so much more athletic and lankier than they were then. When is the last time you watched a Bulls game from that season. Look at the competition--yes, the players were tougher, but that's about all they had on today's players...argument could be made that Centers from that era could hold their own against centers in today's game, because it's such a pathetic position right now. Just my two cents.Comment -

Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman would be good in any era just as Curry, KD, and Thompson.
You really can’t compare eras. If the Warriors played in that era they wouldn’t be as good offensively and if the Bulls played in this era they wouldn’t be as good defensively.
Likewise, Jordan and Pippen would have evolved differently in today’s era and Curry and KD would have developed differently in the 90s.
All I know is Jordan won 6 titles in 8 years and probably would have won 8 if he hadn’t quit to play baseball.
This Warriors team only has 2 titles and one of them was against a Cavs team missing Kyrie and Love.
I can’t consider a team the Greatest ever when they have only won 1/3 of the titles those Bulls teams won. Maybe I’ll change my mind if they win the next three Finals.
Jordan was dominant and never even went to a game 7.Comment -
