Will the Angels get swept at home?

Interesting thought, they should be hungry to avoid that

Tropeano might have just one start this year, but he is solid as long as he is healthy

Rodriguez for the Red Sox can throw big K numbers up, but the Angels are a team who is 3rd in team strikeout rate per game, while Boston is 1st

That leads us to look at that over 8.5 even closer, every pitch is even more important as these teams can each work the count

Tropeano is going give up runs. Boston is just too hot and the kid just came off Tommy Johns. Sure he looked good against Royals but who hasn't? With Boston just ripping the cover off the ball and the fact that Angels have been quiet the first two games should make Rodriguez a bit uneasy. Especially since I am sure he hasn't forgotten about the last time he faced the Angels. He could be in for another shelling as I highly doubt Angels put up another bagel. About the only way I see this staying under is if Boston has tired themselves out rounding the bases for the past 2 days. I can see a 7-4 type game. Two suspect pitchers, the top two run scoring offenses in baseball, I will take the over. GL

Having said that Tropeano will probably throw a no hitter and win 1-0. But fuk it, I am hitting it with a double banger son.

Trout and Upton both are righties so maybe they can throw some out of the park vs Rodriguez

Either way, the OVER should benefit from patience at the plate (by both teams) so I’m gonna roll with it
