#8Last year Brady didn't take many hits, his OL is solid, he had a good year.. Sure he's getting older but this system is working and tailor made for Brady... He comes back next year I'd bet on it...Comment -

Only needed 2 series stops throughout the game to win
Benching him is one thing, but not putting him in after your starters are getting torched EVERY play is equal to the pass play call by Seattle in coaching blundersComment -

#19Wow
Pretty weak
I saw the best DB the Patriots had sitting on the sidelines while the Eagles passed at will the whole game
Are the DB's totally to blame???
Of course not, but it was obvious that they were terrible the whole game
That is like Belly benching the best pass rusher they have, then they can produce no pass rush, but it really didn't matter cause the DB' s couldn't cover anyone
Nobody is saying they would have won
The point is that it is insane to have your best DB on the sideline the whole game when the guys that are playing aren't doing their job in any way whatsoeverComment -

#21Read the story
How this is journalism is beyond me
They have 0 sources that say he won't play
They have 3 sources that suggest he will
Schefter concludes this is a story about Brady not playing....
....no wonder ESPN's going under. RidiculousComment -

#25It was odd that Bill would not start the guy but my point is Bulter wasn't going to chance the game. If you watched earlier playoff games he got burned numerous times. Even ex Pats players that work for ESPN and are complete homers said he wouldn't have made much of a difference.
He had big time game experience and made the most clutch defensive Superbowl play in NFL history
Despite getting burned occasionally, he was by no means considered inferior to any other DB on the team
There is no justification for this
Your secondary played terrible the whole game
If Butler can make ONE more play you might win the game
You might not, but to say it would have made no difference is insaneComment -
