#37Las Vegas is good, but as a Penguins fan, Golden Knights supporters need to remember that Fleury is Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. That dude can stand on his head and shut out the best offenses just as easily as he can give up four goals in the first 12 minutes. I made a futures bet on Pittsburgh at +800 back in January, but Vegas can beat them--it all depends on which Fleury will show up.Comment -

They gave up one PP goal than Noesen slapped in a one timer from Hall to take the lead.. game ended right there basically
But yes up until maybe 10 minutes left in the 3rd it was their best game of the series
Nj will win tonight, probably will go 7
Not sure if Nj can win in Tampa but it should get thereComment -

#43Teams with zero playoff experience dont just waltz in and take the cup, it takes teams YEARS to gain experience and learn how to win deep into the playoffs
Teams like Pit, Bos, Nash will dismantle a young inexperienced Vegas squad over a 7 game series
In all honesty LA isnt even a playoff team and Vegas barely scored against them, You cant score 1-2 goals and expect to win against the top clubs.Comment -

#46This talking about not scoring goals as literally EVERY team in the EAST has conceded 5+ goals in a game so far and lost by 4-5 lol
Ill take vegas winning 1-0 and consistently over the nonsense currently going on in the east.
Pitt's def, for example, is going to catch up to them at some point. Even the Preds giving up goals consistently to the Avs.
Still, we're gonna get some legit 2nd round matchups and i am excited (would like to see the Caps somehow exercise their Pitt demons, but that's like hoping to win the lottery)Comment -

#51Vegas closed at -125 to win their Round 1 series vs LA Kings right before game 1. Games played out to close scores, but series 4-0 sweep, not close to -125. Saw and heard from my sources a lot of people thinking Kings would win, or at least take it to 7 games before the series started....not even close in the end.
So my way of thinking, that series shoulda been priced at -150,-160, maybe higher on Vegas. It woulda generated even more action/bigger bets on the Kings. Maybe my thinking is off, but that's how I see it.
Side note, believe I saw you had TB/ANA in the finals in the betpoints challenge questions. Contests no big deal, but anyone would put their best guess, right? Line was way off on Anaheim too, thinking they'd make a competitive series with the Sharks, which they haven't. Both Anaheim goalies had nagging minor injuries going into the series, plus their experienced guys are aging, coupled with their young guys being inexperienced. LB what you said earlier today about Nashville is actually spot on description of the Ducks this year.Comment -

#57Kings never knowing for speed- they are big and physical- what’s alarming is that kings was able to make Vegas play there brand of hockey and couldn’t win 1 game - Vegas plays a wide open hockey brandComment -

#58Kings are pathetic honestly, dont even know how they made the playoffs
All of their players are old and slow and not very hungry to win anymore as they all have multiple cups
Vegas will get smacked by SJ next round just watch.Comment -

#61Nothing to see here , youngster bandwagon jumper . Seems every big run in sports you pop up a thread of GOAT status .
Same shit with Michigan , Nova beat them within an inch of their lives .
Now it's Vegas turn.

#63That was their old pedigree but since they got rid of perennial pussies like Marleau they have become much tougher. The addition of Kane gives them the edge but I still think Winnipeg or Nash will come out of the west.
Playoff hockey is all about physicality as you get deeper, the biggest most physical players will hold up the best. Its a war of attrition.
I live in Canada son, you dont know shit about hockey.Comment -
