    Nba playoffs in Vegas
Every year I come to Vegas for the NBA playoffs, primarily to bet specifically series outcomes (easiest time of the year for sports betting)

Will have several large bets. Here a few days early this year so will be betting smaller bets on individual games. Will post all plays inside.

First play tonight okc ML -170. 340 to win 200.
Okc -3.5 110 to win 100. Will be in game betting this on MGM live app/William hill. Will post those plays.

I hope so. Always good to win the first one in this town. If anyone has any picks to add I'm all ears for the next few days until playoffs start

Good luck ans, I'm probably gonna wait until playoffs start and look to see if any of these teams that won out to get in are tired and mail it in for game 1

i'm intrigued by this... don't most NBA series go fairly close to expectations. i'm wondering what the edge is..... anyway, good luck with it

I’ll never forget the first time I went to Vegas for the NBA finals
                      Heat vs OKC
I was so pumped. Expected huge crowds and a Super Bowl atmosphere. Got to the Westgate early for a prime seat.
Place ended up being 20% full and more people watching the horses then the game.

Been most profitable time of year for me 5 years running. The better team loses often in sports. Not nearly as often in a best of 7. As long as you're willing to at times pay a shit price it's pretty easy $. This year will be more difficult with not as many clear cut favorites, but will get better prices. Another good thing is in a series always plenty of times and opps to hedge

Adding Spurs ML +160 $200 and +4 for 100 tonight.

Will be in game betting the blazers game. They are pulling off quite the choke job, but I believe they will win tonight, but it'll be more obvious in the first 5-6 mins of the game.

Got the blazers 780 to win 300' in game.

Then got a little carried away with my bovada account and bet when the blazers are up 17 2500 to win 100. Vegas alc will give you confidence in your team.

Alot of people are turned off by the NBA and don't bet nearly what many people think. They think it's rigged and would rather bet on something else.

I've picked who I think will win each round but patiently waiting here for the odds for each series to be posted to lay final bets. Will post my tickets when final.

Seeing as this thread has been duplicated by about 9 other posters, hopefully this one cashes for anyone that has similar picks.

My first bet is $2,800 to win $2,000 on the Okc -140. Will post all the tickets before tip off on Saturday. Right now leaning toward betting the blazers big. Probably some action on the 76ers. And trying to talk myself into the Bucs. Will post pics of all plays prior to tip off on Saturday. Best of luck

Ans, Hoping not, but if OKC were to lose opener, would you typically wager more at increased series odds before game 2?

Really a gut feel. I'm thinking about betting more prior, so in that case if I have so much tied up probably not. I've done both. When I load up on a series though, I'm looking for what I feel are bets that have an edge. So majority of the time I look for series that if my pick loses it would at least be in 7 games. If this thing got to 7 I would bet Utah in game 7 and prettt much scrap the series. Far different strategy than most as I bet larger amounts before hand then most but also hedge more often than most people I know. Did this in round one with clippers and Utah last season and it saved my ass 4 grand.

To answer the question direct, depends on how game 1 looked. I've bet the team that lost again after game 1, I've bet more at worse odds after game 1 when the team I originally bet won (last years finals golden state) and have completely switched my pick after watching a game one. This one i probably will not.

I'm literally on the opposite side for all of these. I like Utah, Pelicans, Heat and Celtics all in game 1.

Seeing as Vegas is usually on the good side of $ I'd be concerned if everyone was on the same side as me lol so makes me feel better to have people on opposite side. But you also mentioned game 1, and not sure if you're talking the spread or ML. I'm strictly talking about series pricing on this thread from now on unless stated otherwise.

I’d rather sit on my lazyboy electronic recliner and hit a button to make my wagers in front of my own TV.

Eh I'd rather have the cash in hand, not worry about taxes or anythjng else if I win 10 grand. For every other part of the year I agree though
