O.K. I didn't do much this week with regards to my longer term positions. I have been playing the daily tape with alternating positions of SDS and UPRO. Going into the election I will continue to play the SPY and after the election, I'll be looking into getting Gold mining stocks as I believe they will take off in November. Gold on the other hand will probably dip lower in the short term.

AQB: AquaBounty Technologies Inc.

This is the fast growing fish play that I've had for a few weeks now and today I would like to get more so I moved my buying price up to get 375 shares at $4.07, or a little more than $1500.

AU: AngloGold Ashanti LTD.

I think this gold miner starts to make a move in the next couple of months. I think gold falls when the stimulus hype dies down in the near term, and at that point I'll be looking to load up a little with this gold miner.

GDX: Vaneck Vectors Gold ETF

This is a basket of gold miners that has held up quite nicely over the last few months during a consolidation period. I'll be looking to add to this position going into November as well.

GLD: SPDR Gold Trust ETF

I think gold goes through some more pullback in the near future before taking off probably next year. Stimulus amazingly is looking more like it is not going to happen until after the election at the earliest, and probably not until next year given the tea leaves I'm reading. Gold is a play on inflation and uncertainty. The uncertain part we have down pat, but Gold lately has been trading along with the value of the dollar, and a lot of the data is showing a deflationary period. I see gold coming back to sub $1800 levels. When it does, I'll be back to buy then, because eventually it will resume its rise.

The scanner didn't come across any other stock plays this week.

Next week I fully expect the S&P to pull back a bit as the deadline for stimulus is effectively on Tuesday if they want to get anything before the election. After Tuesday, it will just be too close and logistically very difficult to move anything through. After that all the stimulus bullishness will die back and the market will whine like a baby for a few days so I expect some more volatility. With an eye towards very high volatility, that means I'll be playing the daily tape with UPRO and SDS.

Yeah they are all getting paid...we know that already...seems like every presidential election comes down to like-ability. So leaving partisan biases aside, who has been more like-able throughout debates and campaigning? I always say...votes are decided by no partisan voters....which comes down to this

Well the Trumpster is accusing the Chupacabra of swinging for the fence in this high stakes stimuli game so the market uses that as an excuse to fall sharper into the close. I bought a shitload (350 shares) of UPRO at 58.95 just before the end of the day.
Tomorrow morning it is turn around Tuesday and there will be some stupid story about the virus, or stimulus being back on the table, or some other catalyst that will move the market in the other direction once they fill the gap of around 346.07 on the S&P. Actually they will probably do it over night so we'll open up 200 points.
Now that I stated that on electronically chiseled stone it will probably be another 450 points down to open and I'll shyt a brick.

The fact that no news organization will even look into it and social media sites actively trying to suppress information is the scandal here. News organizations will gladly crawl over hot coals to find out if one of Trumps kids have a business interest in a foreign country that isn't even a stated adversary but will dismiss and use group thinking from their own non sources to debunk a potential Biden story. The double standard the media has created is blatantly apparent. They may get lucky and have Biden win, but if Trump wins, I see some serious shyt coming down on the media, social sites, and the democratic deep state that has evidence mounting up pretty high at this point. They can say that it isn't true and the story has been a giant hoax. Today after all the good earnings we have in the morning, I'll be looking for the stimulus hype. I fully expect the news of Chupacabra's breakfast of aborted fetuses and Mnuchin's eating his old lady out to eventually fade later this afternoon, and at that point, I'll unload my 350 shares of UPRO, and pick up about 1500 shares of SDS in the same minute in the anticipation of the market sell off.

This way I'll be positioned for the news. Don't forget the Turtle is getting into the mix today as well with the senate voting on a stimulus bill that says they are working on it. We all know by now it is all bullshyt and posturing before the election.

Any creep upwards will cause me to bet against the rally unless there is some other black swan catalyst. I think the market has only gained in an election October like 2 times in my life. Playing the odds and going with the pullback, or even a plunge to 3000.

I really don’t understand being bearish at all right now, metals and other counter cycle stonks I can see...but I don’t even think it’s a question of if a stimulus gets passed in the next month or two or three,,,,but really how many more stimulus after that! As long as economy is in a depression...which it is...and likely will be over the next year or two...you can’t just restart a business and economy like nothing ever happened...there will be a major reshuffling of the deck chairs...so there really is no other choice than to spend your way out to lower unemployment short term...maybe over the next year or two....then they can rely on raising rates and taxes on the back end once the economy is flowing on its own and a vaccine is proven safe and effective....but...once that happens...liquidity stops and that’s when the crash will happen...stonks can’t go up if rates are increasing and borrowing isn’t as easy. That’s just my two cents...if you add on top of this...the amount of isolationist behaviors being displayed by many governments, including our own...I wouldn’t be surprised if another black swan event in the form of a major war or cyber attack occurs....lots of unknowns right now but agree or not one thing is for sure they will have to keep printing and worry about making it up on the back end.

So gold is finally up in an area that it needs to break through if you think it is time for it to take off. At around 1930 is near the top of a recent range bound area, give or take.

All of you people who think there will be a stimulus deal are just being strung long. There is no leverage and no winner so there will be no deal. There aren't any losers either, so there will be no deal. Until we have a winning side and a losing side, there will be no deal. This is the way everything gets done in Washington. This time however the stakes are high because it will be fresh in our minds when we all vote a couple of weeks from now. If you think the losing side is the American people, well I just can't help you because the decisions in Washington are never about helping the American people.

Still playing the UPRO and SDS game with a bias toward the downside. I don't think we get to 3000, but I do see 339 (SPY) in the near future.
