Bet them each moneyline to win each series you'll end up with at least -170 overall but not have to fade two months of injuries.

If they run into okc Houston and Cleveland you'll get a better combined price with much easier hedge.

Betting playoff series is by far the most profitable time of year for me 5 years running.

When you get to the finals bet Kd and curry to win finals MVP. Last year I got +180 on kd and +225 on curry. Probably not as good this season, but getting better odds then betting the line against Cleveland. And nobody would win the series MVP if they won ship besides those two

Exactly. That's why wait till playoffs begin, bet moneyline individually on each series. A ton of money to be made. Best team usually wins a best of 7.

you can say that about the star for any team

Having my cash tied up for 3 hours is more than I want to wait... no way in hell I'm going to tie up cash for 3 months

This makes plenty of sense... and you can bail with profits if you don't like the outlook of the next series.

To each their own... there is a time/value component to bankroll management. I like the prospect of compounding value. You don't get that sitting on future wagers over a long time.

IF futures work for you go for it. That is why there is literally a million different ways to approach sports gambling. To many people I'm conservative... you know the guys that play 1st halves or 2nd halves or intra-game wagering.

Haven't placed my bet this very second, but if I get the fund to a respectable number to where its cost effective vs the line (under -220) it wouldn't be bad to place one in early March to make sure I don't blow everything on the NCAA tournament.. NHL playoffs would be the only sport I'd have to leave a side roll to keep betting
