close call man, you are not supposed to tackle like that when the ball is not even in the other player's possession 100%

it was a disputed ball so the ref felt the danger of harsh injury was real, preventive red card

dont agree with it, yellow is right... but the rules say a red can be shown if "injury intent" is considered...

Clear cut Red for me. He lunges for the ball with cleats up. Ref makes the proper call and takes out the back side of the yellow card to record the infraction ( time , player # etc )

Studs first = red card. Often the refs miss it, good thing this one didn't.

thats the way it used to be!!! led to many injuries when ball was a miss... so they now judge intent ball or not...

if i knew of a soccer game and was driving up and saw any africans on the pitch i would just pull a u-turn and drive home. they all tackle like that but from behind. and when you call foul they get in your face. they are so crazy
