What can be done to motivate women to report immediately when something inappropriate happens?

Some kind of anonymous tip line?

Compliance officer team - all females required to meet with officer once per month - sign survey - personally hand survey to officer and testify yes or no as to inappropriate behavior in the last 30 days. Waiver of rights if student later makes complaint-immediate expulsion for lying or not reporting known violations.

Each team has a stricter survey and coach reviews compliance data each month.

Would this expose something a lot earlier?

Who - what - can put a stop to this - nobody - anywhere - is solving the problem so it goes away-what is getting caught must only the tip of the icebergs? A lot of innocent people are harmed when this enabling occurs by not reporting!

Take campus police out of the picture. They can direct traffic or other BS, but make it clear that if you are a victim of a major crime you go to real police.

Society is so different now - people make dates on social media without even seeing the other person. The young world wants to move so fast and doesn't have time to even talk - let alone write - LOL But, if a President of a University has their job on the line if somebody gets some poon tang and they did not find out about it and punish them the next day?

Is my idea not practical? Interview all the gymnasts and any females involved with the program each month and have them sign a form (ala Chapelle) i.e. everything going alright? Have the coach and trainer do the same. Or would all this be too much work and chase everybody away from the program - they are too strict - don't go there?

So, MSU has screwed the pooch - there is just an impossible environment that exists to comply internally - every school that wants to survive is going to have to hire a private security firm to constantly interview and privately investigate each athlete or coach constantly and indepentantly suspend pending any possible issue. It has to be third party and then they will probably be crooked. Presidents and athletic firectors and coaches cannot administer any investigation into sexual related issues as it is like impossible to throw their own people under the bus.
