Makarova was still in Australia playing doubles 3 days ago whilst Pavly was out of everything down under 11 days ago.

Makarova hates this surface, avoids it but has to play it in home country. Record is like 1-5 when she has in last 5 years.

Pavly on other hand, this is her best surface, she likes slow courts and has won 3 or 4 WTA titles on it.

Maybe that's what tricked me.

Agree extra day works against the bets, but still like them a lot. If any news suggesting Maka not happy comes across social media before match I might even add on.

Rule of thumb is fade previous weeks event winner in early rounds if a spot is there to try.

You probably jumped on it when the order of play was not announced yet, so every match had the same starting time - monday, the start of the tournament.

1st round on wendsdays are not that rare. Especially on smaller tournaments indoors, when there is not so many courts available as at the outdoor tournaments, so they have to figure something out.

i like how she has gone thru qualfiying and played 3 times on the court, kasatkina hasn't played in a while and she has lost 4 of her last 5 matches, i wathced the match she played in australia and lost to the polish girl and i wasn't impressed at all last year in this tourny she lost her 2nd match to a player ranked about the same as kuzmova

The money line is off the board for the Makarova match as of 30 minutes ago. All other wager options still available. ML went from -165 to -185 this morning and now it is off.
