Was Chris Paul Holding The Clippers Back???
    2-0

And breaking teams backs without him.

Seems like he was the reason why they lost in the playoffs.

    -Locker room cancer
    -Couldn't hit a clutch shot
    -Always injured.

I don't really like the Clippers but I am glad they got rid of him. I think they are too.

It will be interesting to see how they do this year.

I'm glad they got rid of him, the team had become stale. They have a little depth now.

They beat the Lakers and the Suns

Lets see what happens when they play a legit NBA team

SI had this guy ranked 4th out of all players in the league I can think of 4 PG off top i'd rather have over him let alone in the whole league.

Played two of the worst teams in the league so hard to get any read till they play someone but the d looks good. Berverly and Williams look good additions (Lou Williams is crazy underated, he's legit imo).

He's never made the Western Conference finals.

There's no denying he's a great player, but he breaks down.

Hopefully my main man Milos didn't get hurt tonight. I'm liking the combination of him and Patrick Beverly.

Clipps 2 wins have been against 2 of the worse teams.... cp3 has crumble in the clutch moments. injuries were an issue for him and others on the team but so much of the offense was run thru him, when he was out, they struggled to get going

going up against the warriors, spurs, every year in the playoffs is going to prevent alot of teams from ever reaching the wcf

He plays the old school PG position maybe even that has changed in the last few years i.e the C postion being fairly reduntant now days. Guy has possibly the best vision and passing game in the league but not sure how much that really matters any more.

He lost a game seven at home with New Orleans, and there were several occasions he blew it with the clippers. Once against the Thunder, where he made a terrible play at the end of one of the games. And then there was that 3-1 collapse against the Houston Rockets a couple of years ago.

Look, he's a good player, but his teammates don't exactly love him. I'm a Chris Paul fan, he's got that Kobe demeanor, but there's no denying he's choked on several occasions.

He is very old-school. It's dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble, and then either shoots it or passes it to the shooter. The ball movement has been much better these two games. Granted, these games have been against a couple of cupcakes.

To be fair they would be 2-0 with him since he'd be injured and out 2-4 weeks

Lol, the reason Chris Paul got hurt so much was because Blake Griffin was hurt every year and Chris Paul had no backup point guard so Rivers had to play Paul too many minutes and he's have nagging injuries late in the year - he carried the team. The Clippers are a joke, they beat Phoenix and LA, 2 of the worst 3 teams in the NBA. Griffin will get hurt again and the Clippers will be garbage. Griffin is who held the Clippers back not Paul, he can't shoot or post up, all he does is dunk in up tempo games, and that doesn't work in the playoffs when th game slows down.

Griffin will be a beast again without Paul, he's now the guy again at LAC (he made the franchise relevant again let's be honest). Unlike many talents in the league you can tell he trains hard to improve on his downfalls. Now he shoots all the way back to the 3 point line and hits his free throws, he's unguardable to 95% of the league, does he have the peices to contend for a title? No probably not but they're a borderline top 4 WC team imo.

Absolutely, and some of those chokes were rookie mistakes. Dribbling the ball off his own foot. Losing the handle. Not catching a pass or throwing it out of bounds. It was frustrating to watch.

I really thought this team was doomed. What cracks me up.... people are going to put 2 and 2 together and say... Chris Paul was the cause. I love it. I'm tired of seeing Golden State and San Antonio always on top. I hope Clippers continue to win.

Clippers problem the last few years has always been playoff injuries.... this team now has very injury prone players. Lets hope they stay healthy.

He only hit that because I was on Blazer ML. Same reason C.J. McCollom missed 2 FTs in the final minutes.

Clippers are undefeated this year mainly because of the addition of Gallinari.. He's fitting in great!!. With the point guard addition of Beverly they have stronger perimeter defense now... Big man Jordan is playing really hard as well this year, came in all bulked up and in shape as it seems.. Lou Williams takes the place of Jamal Crawford also as the new sixth man scoring punch..

This Clipper team might be better then last years Clipper team... Clipps did need a 3 point buzzer beater from Blake Griffin last night to win in Portland but they were in the lead for most of that game..

I LIKE THIS CLIPPER TEAM THIS YEAR...
