This is so true, one of my best friends I can never get to actually take a stand on a game's regular line (when I do he's like Lang). At this point it's like he handicaps solely with teasers in mind, breaking my rule of "If you don't like them against the line, don't put them in a teaser"

In the right spot teasers make sense. To play them regularly can put you in the hole quickly. I like a good 3 Teamer every now and then in NFL on totals.Comment -
If you stick w 2 team 6 points and use them properly they are a weapon. The problem is guys think everything looks easy when they add points and get carried away w more teams, including totals, etc etc. 2 team 6 pointers that cross 3 and 7 a very good start. Add few more criteria that I think ups the percentages even more , only play one a week and at end of year you will notice you prob only lost 3-4 in the 17 week season as I've posted in season long threads going back at least last 5 years (other than last year as I wasn't able to post).Comment -

lost 2 strait up bets, lost 1 teaser and lost one parlay in week 1. and then i pushed a college game strait up. to go down 4 units so far. I talk myself out of betting the bills to win and talked myself out of betting the panthers to win and then i talked myself out of betting the colts to lose big... I get in my own way it seems. I tend to not see the value in less exciting games and teams... Need some practice and advice or I am just gonna give this up lol.Comment -
i almost followed a friend that did a three game special teaser that was +13 saints, +14.5 giants, and +13 seahawks. he bet 600 to win 500 and then giants did not cover.... i was very shocked that they lost by 16 ..... nutsComment -
