Time to ride the St. Louis Cardinals?

Its always nice to jump on a team that is playing well. The Dodgers were that team for a few weeks but now have cooled off. The Cubs won you 7 of their last 8.

What about the Cards making a push for the post season. My gut tells me they could make me a few bucks in the next 2 weeks. They are scoring runs.

Those division games will be tough to roll through because of familiarity for both teams.

That said, this team plays hard in Sept. and has a history of that.

You could do a lot worse than lean on that team at crunch time.

The kids have really been carrying the big league squad since all being called up.

And yes matheny is terrible, sadly he ain't going anywhere anytime soon as cards not in the business of making changes. Good and bad in a way, continuity is a underrated thing which most the successful organizations in all sports have but at same time a bummer when that means having to deal w a goofball like matheny sticking around forever despite his many shortcomings.

Bats cooled off last night but I look for them to bounce back big time tonight and Weaver has been great as of late. Cards 8-2
