Sorry about the attack but I take the current state of pollution personally as my life revolves around the ocean and has done since I was born. Burying your head in the sand is not the answer, honestly I gave up caring awhile a go as the only ones that can do anything won't so it is what it is.

Turks and Caicos' has a lot of Americans on that island and most of them are riding it out. They are getting blasted right now with the worst of this beast for the next few hours. Then the Bahamas and US is next. This thing could really change lives and area codes depending on how far west/east it decides to go.

Barbuda and Antigua about to get hit again from Hurricane Jose next week. My God, give these people a break.

JJ - Aren't you a Meteorologist major? This hurricane may make a direct hit on Miami and run right up the coast with devastating winds. We're looking at possibly the worst hurricane to hit Florida ever. This is nothing to take for granted or to down play. It's not the rain or flooding to be worried about with this one. It's the storm surge and high winds, especially for people near the coasts.

I think there is a couple of Nuclear power plants directly in the path of this monster in Florida. That's what the news said.. I'm worried about those getting slammed and hit hard the most.. We remember what happened in Japan with the earthquake tsunami that ruptured that crap...
