This hurricane is going to be very horrible. It has nothing to slow it down as it hits Florida coast. As horrific Harvey was (I'm still sitting in this shit), this may be more catastrophic. Homes in South Florida are not built to withstand 100 mph winds, let alone 150 mph. If you believe in prayer, even if you don't believe in it, this is the time to get on your knees.

Donk, most of the radars that you are looking at DO NOT have a symbol for hurricanes, which is why you don't see it on their maps. You can go to weather.com and you won't see the hurricane on the map but here is the current conditions... 130 to 145 mph winds. Good luck with that.

Where I turn wary is when big government uses it as an opportunity for growth through more regulations, more departments to enforce those regulations, more gov. employees to fill those departments, more revenue from fines related to these regulations, and the main proponent of it flying around in a private airplane to spread the word about this alarming situation.

We could just control behavior through tax credits for environmentally sound practices which would render businesses who don't receive these credits unable to financially compete with others who do. Solve the problem of supposed human induced climate change while at the same time shrinking Government instead of expanding it.
