Dude are you serious right now? Lol 10 1k tickets lol on NFL futures ha ha. Get yourself a disguise, wig and make up go to 10 different books you might not wanna be red flagged on 10 future bets what team? If you say the patriots you might get banned pal. Dude any book would take that action on a future bet.

Dude go to the west gate tell them what you want if they say no for some reason tell them you want one or whatever they do then proceed to go to 9 or how ever many books. 1k on a future is a smile on a bookies face bro.

Wouldn't the IRS come in when you cash the ticket? And it doesn't have to be 10k to give your info for taxes does it?

I'm pretty sure if you kept the winnings for each individual ticket under 10k... you should be ok. It would be a pain in the ass coming back in ever so often?!?!? Probably would catch him on the 4th or 5th attempt and then tax him.

But what does it matter... probably wouldn't win anyways.

Well they fill out a CTR if it's over 10k, but if you cash multiple tickets to stay under the 10k per ticket, they will fill out a SAR because it looks like you are structuring. (Which is what the poster is considering doing) I don't think they report to the IRS unless you hit higher than a 300-1 bet but I am not sure.

Maybe he's looking to make 10 x 1k bets that all pay out just under 10k+ each?
