"This is a guy who has pitched for 3 different teams in the past few weeks all over the country. He looked rusty to me"

This clown has looked rusty for 3 years....Holy chit the yanks are in denial

Girardi may be as bad as Jerry Jones in the denial category

Nah, nothing is worse than Jerry Jones

He's one of the worst managers ever he was very fortunate to have Hall of Fame players and his underachieved with the Yankees based on payroll and talent

Disagree. This team was supposed to do nothing this year. Look where they are at. Girardi already has a world series ring managing the Yankees in 2009. He will win a few more.

I even asked in another thread DAYS before this start...why did they get him? LOL

He's terrible the Yankees got a tremendous payroll

Yankees are loaded with talent and underachieving again

One World Series with the Yankees is a failure for how long he's been there

A day after committing three errors in one inning, it was more of the same for the New York Yankees on Friday night when they dropped another sloppy, uninspiring ballgame to the Cleveland Indians. This time, Jaime Garcia, who was making his Yankee debut, was on the losing end of a 7-2 contest marred by another error from an outfielder, another passed ball from catcher Gary Sanchez, and continuing struggles with runners in scoring position from the Yankees’ offense.

While Garcia, who was traded from the Minnesota Twins to the Yankees on July 30, didn’t exactly help his cause, he wasn’t terrible either. He was a victim of a slipshod Yankee defense that has contributing to the team’s current four-game losing streak.

I'm a Yankee fan, he has his moments. I think his biggest issue is late in games with bullpen decisions.

He should be managing for his job this year. No matter the pre season predictions this team is prime for a playoff spot past the wildcard, has to happen this year.

As a cardinal fan I'd kill to have Girardi as our manager. Let mike matheny be your manager for awhile then come talk to me bout shitty managers!!

Also as a cards fan I've seen Jamie Garcia a ton and he is not a bad pitcher at all. He a bit of a head case and he kinda injury prone but when he healthy he a solid 4th starter.

Matheny and ausmus have no business having jobs. They make baker look like a genius who makes girardi look like a HOF'er!!

Ok I know I was just defending girardi but now I gotta ask, why the hell would/did he pull Montgomery after 5 innings of 3 hit ball with 7 k's and only 65 pitches? That makes no sense.
