I made error in selecting a username that I use quite often in other places. Just don't think its ideal to use a username that can be linked to other stuff? I explained this and asked if my username could be changed or alternately whether the account could be closed so I'd be able to re-open down the track with a new username if need be but I received an unrelated reply which made me feel like a piece of dirt. See below. I don't want to be associated with that sort of people.

Was wondering if there was a way I could change my username?? It's no biggie I just thought that if I ever posted it would be better to use a name that I did not use as a login for some of the internet bookmakers. Not that I'm going to attract too much attention, just thought it'd be better for privacy that is all.

Also if I can't (change the username) would it be possible to delete the account. (I can 't seem to find how to do that) I don't think that I'll be posting under this username. I may open another account in the future but no plans to do so, just it seems a useful forum, interesting discussions etc.
