Good luck, Chile typically a good league for overs. But like you noted, hard to say since it's first league match for both teams. And aside from a couple cup matches, these teams haven't played in a couple months. I don't see much of an angle here.. road team did score 2 last time but it was a cup match against a 2nd division team.

I'm much more partial to Chile overs when one team is like a -200 favorite

              Fantastic post Patty...

Maybe the price on the over indicates what you are referring to, but I like this one for today...We shall see..

That's typically my strategy when betting overs in soccer.. look for a big favorite (preferably at home) that usually scores a lot and hope they do their job and maybe the road team sneaks in a goal.

Perfect example, tomorrow, 11:30 AM Finland Veikkausliiga. First place HJK is a -400 favorite at home against second to last place HIFK. HJK kick ass at home, winning 7 of 8 league matches and scoring 25 goals in the process. Recent home league matches:
                    Win 3-1
                    Win 2-0
                    Win 4-0
                    Win 6-0
                    Win 2-0

Going back further across all competitions, HJK have only NOT scored a goal 1 time in their last 22 home matches (maybe even more, but that's as far back as FlashScore shows me). So, you have to think they are going to score at least 1 goal. If they do what they usually do, they should score 2. If things are clicking for them, they could easily score 3. Or maybe the road team gets lucky and scores one, and you're probably golden.

Or who knows, maybe they only win 2-0 and you lose, but I find it easier to justify betting overs when you have 1 team that has a long track record of consistently scoring and beating inferior team, especially at home. You can get the over 2.5 at -140 right now at 5dimes, or pay -109 for the over 2.75. I like my chances in these matches much more than say two evenly matched teams where both teams are priced at + money.
