I agree. I would love to see more openers with this type of magnitude.

I think Florida v Michigan will also be a good one.

Yep and CFP committee really looks at SOS which the BCS computers didn't consider in the same manner so most big conference powers the last 2-3 years have really scheduled up. Just look at opening week (labor day wknd) cfb slate the last 2 years and that tells u all u need to know

Bama was sharp against Michigan a couple of years ago and easily covered. FSU could win but +6 is not very enticing. After the adrenaline wears off and Bama is getting 6 yards up the middle on 1st down that tomahawk chop could get a little limp.

That was 2012 when bama routed mich and Denard Robinson to start the season. That michigan team had brady hoke as coach and was nowhere near as good as jimbo and fsu is. But the point is bama and saban don't overlook teams
