I have Fidelity and they are not setup to take crypto... yet. They did send me a letter, asking if I would disclose how many BTC's I had and that they would track it for me for free. Yeah, screw that. They've partnered with CB but I still don't know what the hell they're trying to do.
Golden State minority owner Chamath Palihapitiya said on CNBC that he put all his BTC's in his 401k. I'm not sure how he did it but that's what he said. I do not think you can "shoot" any money into a 401k or Roth Ira without first paying the capital gains. You were able to send your pensions because that's always allowed.
