I've been staying as cool as I could be, but I'm not seeing any help on their end so far. From the laughable $250 compensation they offered, to the bogus completely inaccurate excuses from the Players Manager. To them not getting back to me tonight when they said they would. I've only posted and filed a complaint through SBR, but rest assured if they don't make things right I will be making sharing my story to the rest of the online gaming world my new part time job.

#72Taking $5 to $77,000 playing slots over 8 hours...yeah.
There had to have been a glitch. But that's the problem with playing casino games at an online casino. It doesn't matter how big of run you go on, they can always void your winnings if they feel like it. If you had pulled that at a physical casino, 2 things would have happened: #1. They would have stopped you from playing way earlier than letting you run up a winning balance like that. #2. You would have been allowed to keep all the money won up until the point that they stopped the game.
Tough break. Huge tease. But I don't think there is anything the online community can do. BetOnline will not take a 77,000 loss. Maybe you could at least get a 1,000 out of them though. 250 ain't good enough.Comment -

Shit $5 to $70k plus. What a run man? I hope they pay you out but I'm sure they'll find some bullshit excuse not to. And there is nothing we as players can do.Comment -

#74People keep saying he started with $5 and turned it into 77k. No, he started with a $5 bet amount and gradually increased as he was winning. It's pretty much the most common strategy for aggressive gamblers, which are the only ones who can end up winning big like this. His initial balance was around $90, not $5.
I don't understand why posters want to exaggerate the odds, especially after hearing that bs from Robert. This guy is in debt, has probably consistently lost at gambling, then finally hits the Royal and the book stiffs him and certain posters nip at him like a pack of hyenasComment -

#75Only thing we can do is publicize it through forums to make the potential lost play exceed the payout. Kind of like when car companies recall dangerous defects if actuaries determine it would cost more in lawsuits than doing a recall.Comment -

#81It is certainly possible to do what OP said. I feel terrible for him. I'd assume there is a way to provide evidence of the software malfunctioning otherwise sbr should reassess Betonlines rating. There is basically 0 chance he is getting paid, the book would have to admit to attempting to defraud the player and we know that isn't happening.
My question would be what would happen if I put 20 bucks into a machine (b&m) and after 8 hours of play was told that the software was malfunctioning and all credits were to be confiscated by the owners? I guess you can reprimand him for playing in an "online" casino but if that's they way they do business then they should be rated F regardless of poker or sports to protect future lock of the year posters from depositing there.
I can't imagine the kinds of headaches that are involved with running an online book and I'm not trying to be judgmental here but it sounds like something is certainly amiss. Perhaps SBR can get it straightened out for ya OP. Good luckComment -

#84It's crazy because if there was a glitch for 8hrs then others had to win also no? And if they didn't then they lost money on a glitchy game, so did they give those players money back doubt itComment -

#85Seriously though, this case seems different to me than others I see on here whining about not getting paid. Some reasons it's different:
-The poster speaks English fluently instead of being out of some Eastern European country or Russia where you get a lot of scammers
-This isn't his first post, been a member for 10 years and is an SBRPro
-This Robert guy pulled a couple of easily disprovable excuses out of his ass which lends itself to just wanting a reason not to pay
-I have gone on benders in online casinos, and I, Like the OP and probably everyone else who plays online, start small and increase the betting if I am winning. What this means is there are 500 players who lose $500 that you never hear about and a couple of people hitting it big.
If you don't mind MSutter, I think there is a history you can pull up of your recent play on that game. Copy and paste it in a post so we can see what's going on. I went into my betonline account and didn't see that game so they may have pulled it.Last edited by msutter; 05-02-17, 03:45 AM.Comment -

I took my Mom out for her Birthday dinner on Wednesday night and had quite a few drinks. Bought a case of beer and a bottle of vodka on the way home and fired up some multi table poker tournaments on ignition and BOL. After I busted out of the multi's I was feeling pretty buzzed and kept making drinks. Decided to play some online slots on Carbon and then BOL with my last $100 I had left in my account. Keep judging though Philly..I'm sure you're a perfect human being in everywayComment -

#89$5 per spin was my initial bet per spin not my starting balance. I played super aggressive from start to finish. Looking at some of my photos I was sending my friends via texts show I was already betting $30 per spin while I was in the $2000 range, and Have a picture where I was at $80 per spiny

#94Everyone has vices man. I'm sure you have some. I've consistently made money playing online poker for 13+ years. I played online poker professionally for 4 years straight until black Friday hit. I used to prefer to play at Pokerstars over the other sites because even though the games were tougher they didn't have an online casino or sportsbook where I could piss away my poker bankroll. As I said I lost almost all of my poker bankroll the night before at BetOnline taking a shot at the higher limit poker games.

#98What do you mean "stop blaming others?" I've never blamed anyone for anything my entire life. I've taken full responsibility for everything. Some of my friends over the years have told me that it might be best to file for bankruptcy and start fresh. I always told them "F.U..K that...I'm a man of my word. Whatever debt I've incurred I will pay. Even if the Banks don't play by the same rules...
Don't ever question my integrity.

#99Thankfully the bankruptcy laws have changed so people like your friends can't just forget about actual debt they owe so others can pay higher interest rates.
Can I ask one question though? You sound like you've played at ton online. Had you ever gone on An epic 8 hour slot run like this before
I never saw BetOnline take the Demi Gods slot down and update it for the supposed bugs that they adhere too.. Don't you think it's a bit strange that there are no other players on any of the gambling / even online slot specific sites complaining about getting screwed over a "technical issue" like me? Seriously I've done many of hours of google searches and can't find anyone else complaining about a BetOnline software technical issue that cost them money this past week(if ever actually).
As far as Betsoft Software...The only thing I could find as far as glitches are the overwhelming amount of gambling sites that don't trust their software saying that it's impossible to win their progressive jackpots. I have not seen anything about Betsoft games having technical errors in the players favor... and like I said I've played this game months ago on ignition, bovada, and I think carbon. If there were any errors in the code it would have been fixed by nowLast edited by msutter; 05-02-17, 06:25 AM.Comment -
