I was just wondering why the line went Bulls -1 to Boston -2. Still think its an overreaction.

Bulls are almost bettable now, any competent point guard could school Thomas defensively. line shift could be overreaction.

It's big because Grant and Cater-Williams have looked pretty bad. Wonder if Butler will play some point. They could put JB on Thomas and go real big.

As a Bulls fan I'm thinking of a Huge series bet on Boston. I know my jeckyl n Hyde Bulls better than anyone.
The Bulls missing rondos leadership can't be underestimated. Boston will win this series

Don't think being a Bulls fan means you know them better than anybody. I also don't agree that the Bulls look to Rondo for leadership. Wade is there, Butler is there. Anyway, respect your opinion. Boston still has it really tough tonight.

I don't think it's "leadership" as much as a PG against Thomas. Grant sucks, esp on defense. And MCW sucks, esp on offense. I wonder if Butler will take the point and go big with Mirotic SF and Portis or Zipser PF.

Chicago's +/- was +11 in game one with Rondo off the court, but -10 with him off the court in game two.
So, hard to say just how important he is.
The lack of depth might hurt more than anything.

Never understood how this +/- is used. I mean where does this reflect? Is it automatic that a big (-) guy comes and a lead starts disappearing? Enlighten me please, never paid attention to it.

It obviously hurts the Bulls chances of winning the series, but have people forgotten that the Bulls still have the best player in this series with a 2-0 edge coming home?

It's hard to determine exactly what it reflects. One game Chicago was -7 with him on the court, and the next game they were +24 with him. I just looked up his replacement, Jerian Grant, and his numbers were pretty much the exact opposite. Great the first game, not so great the second. In a small vacuum, these numbers really don't mean anything.

I hear you Giant. Its kinda amazing to me though how weak this Carter-Williams has played. This guy was drafted pretty high and was supposed to be the shizznit. If he could play anywhere near his potential it would be great for Chicago.

Michael Carter Williams could be looking to rejuvenate his NBA career, and nothing like some playoff heroics could go in helping that.
Maybe he will turn back the clock and play like a rookie tonight.

Bulls -200 series says it all. They should be -600 minimum being up 2-0 on home floor. Even down 0-3 Boston could win, that game 6 would decide the series

It's not so much that Rondo is out that hurts the Bulls, it's that Grant and MCW who are probably 2 of the worst players in NBA history are actually going to have to play 15-20 mins each.
