The definition of a "past-post" for a future is placing a wager once one of the predicate games has started. In this case, the two games not only started, but were complete.
No ,this is not past posting. Past posting is after the start of an event . As all futures (or nearly all) are after the start of an event there can be no past posting.

Where did you get your definition ?

How is anyone to tell whether or not a book has taken a game into consideration or not ?

This decision is a license for books to rob players on future bets.

      Bigloser,

I respectfully disagree with your interpretation. The "norm" for a book dealing futures is to take them down when the first even that could affect prices starts. They may choose to put them back up after a series of events has been played at a revised price.

It was obvious from this dispute that the line was not taken down, and the price was the "pre-match" price.

This is not the case at all. Most books do not take down futures prices when events are taking place that may impact the outcome.
5Dimes Bet365 VIP WSEX all left NHL furtures up during tonights games.
It is all very well to argue degree. This may well have been "obvious" to you. It would not have been obvious to me and there are a great many other people out their that it would not have been obvious to.

          Come On...

Bigloser, you have to admit there is a difference between one game in an 82 game NHL season and one game in a 4 team/group round robin 16 team tournament.

They were 6 team groups ad we are 35 games into the season.

Nevertheless I am trying to make the point that futures arent clear.
Most books can time expire lines, there is no excuse for leaving a dead line up unless events are rescheduled , this did not happen in this case.
If a futures line is up it is reasonable to assume it is live

Books can, have, and will post a bad line here and there. They are covered against that. Not even a discussion.

Did the player take a shot? Of course he did.

Did the book take a shot? Four fourteen f*cking euros? Get real.

The book has nothing to gain here, they left up a bad line; the player is making a lot of noise about nothing.

Stan James should have taken the future down before the first game started. They didn't. After that, they handled everything reasonably.
Where can I find this price - in the dictionary??!!

What do you mean "market price"? when we are talking about nba or nfl lines we could find market price immediately

But it was not so popular sport and not so popular wager (to win group)

IMHO: there was not market price because there was not MARKET for this wager!

I bet on Stanjames.com, not on "market"

                I agree with TLD:
However, to me a line that is not properly updated is not a “bad line.” A “bad line” is a typo, such as posting +700 when the evidence is unmistakable that –700 was intended, or +1800 when the evidence is unmistakable that +180 was intended.

The outcome of a single game was known in two brackets. Knowing those results greatly changed the odds
so tell me how great - I don't know it - I know what was the line of SJ - IF I lost I would have waisted whole stake

Noone (neither you - Justin7) wants to answer to my question :

WHy SJ didn't void this bet ???????!!!!!!!!

they made couple downgrades on these future bets (!!!) and finally they threw these lines away form offer -

So I'm 100 % sure that they noticed my wager and they did nothing with this.

Try to bet on incorrect line in stanjames - they will cancel your bet immediately -

in that time they did not...............

We all know they were just hoping that you would not win!
